The
courtesan exists as contrast with the lusty
servants and amorosa-types. The contrast is
that she has no need to keep anything secret
or private. Sometimes this results in some object
lesson being taught.
There
are lots of names used for the Courtesan. We have settled
on Vittoria in our troupe.
